Stick Painting

This idea blossomed as Strand worked on large installations. While creating large swirls and arches, he noticed that the branches resembled brush strokes if he squinted a bit. This led to working on smaller scale projects like the ones seen here. He is constantly refining this technique as he works on more of these.
